Our pre-school Nursery has three admission intakes each year, at the start of each term - one in September, January and April. Children are eligible to start in our Nursery in the term following their 3rd birthday. For example;

If you make an application to St Helens Council for our Nursery and are told we are full, please contact the school directly as we may still be able to offer you a place. This is because Robins Lane Nursery operates as a Local Authority 'Maintained' Nursery and a Private, Voluntary & Independant (PVI) Nursery. There is no difference to your child which setting allocates the place - the funding, hours and everything else is exactly the same. We added the PVI setting to expand our Nursery as we have lots of space to occupy more than 26 children.
Funding
All children who are 3 are entitled to 15-hours funding. The funded 15-hours are taken as follows at Robins Lane;

30-Hours Free Childcare
Working parents may be eligible for 30-hours free childcare. You can check your eligibility here;

Charges
If you are not eligible for 30-hours funding, but still wish for your child to stay beyond the 15 funded hours, our current charges are;
| Lunch time charge (11.30am-12.15pm) | £4.00 |
| Full afternoon charge (11.30am-3.15pm) | £23.00 |
| Breakfast club charge (7.45am-8.30am) | £5.00 |
| After-school club charge (3.15pm-6.00pm) *subject to availability for Nursery children | £10.00 (or you can pay £5.00 for an earlier collection time of 4.15pm) |
