Our Published Admission Number (PAN)
3/4 Year Old Maintained Preschool PAN (places that are allocated by St Helens Council) | 3/4 Year Old Little Robins Preschool (Wrap-Around) PAN (places that are allocated directly by school) | 2 Year Old Little Robins Nursery PAN | |
Number of places | 26 AM places | 8 AM places 24 PM places | 10 AM places 5 PM places |
If you make an application to St Helens Council for our Nursery and are told we are full, please contact the school directly as we may still be able to offer you a place. This is because Robins Lane Nursery operates as a Local Authority 'Maintained' Nursery and a Private, Voluntary & Independent (PVI) Nursery. There is no difference to your child which setting allocates the place - the funding, hours and everything else is exactly the same. We added the PVI setting to expand our Nursery as we have lots of space to occupy more than 26 children.

Tax Free Childcare
As well as funded hours, parents may also be eligible for tax-free childcare for any additional, top-up payments made to extend your child's childcare.
You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
If you get tax-free childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.
You can get tax-free childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare if you're eligible for both.
